Overview

This program is offered by the Momentum Practice Group and has been fine-tuned over the past 10 years. The program involves adding a Pain Management component to the services offered by the Doctor (regardless of discipline). The addition of Pain Management increases the value of the Practice and makes the Practice more attractive to investors for potential investment or purchase. The addition of these services is positioned as a supplement to the Doctor’s existing Practice. The addition also increases the number of services offered by the Practice and can increase Practice revenue significantly, on average, by $50,000 or more each month. The program makes sense “on every level.” Pain Management is among the fastest growing and most highly reimbursed fields in medicine and the component is added to the Practice without disrupting the schedule or routine of the Doctor. The implementation of the program is turn-key.

The program is comprised of the following:

  • The Momentum Practice Group will coordinate the hiring, contracting with and training of the MD who specializes in Pain Management.
  • The Momentum Practice Group will coordinate the rental of or acquisition of equipment necessary to offer Pain Management services. They will also handle the design of the Pain Management suite within the Doctor’s office.
  • The Momentum Practice Group will train and update the Doctor’s Practice concerning appropriate coding, billing and collection.
  • The Momentum Practice Group will execute both internal and external marketing programs as needed.

The Momentum Practice Group has spent 10 years fine tuning the program and has ensured that ?all loops are closed? in terms of the legality of structure. In addition, the participating Doctors are doing very well and are increasing their monthly revenue by $50,000 or more as a result of their participation.

The model requires a high level of efficiency and the Momentum Practice Group has achieved a high level of expertise in each required area:

  • Hiring of (finding the right Pain Management MD for your office), contracting with and orientation of the Pain Management MD.
  • Compliance with all regulatory and insurance requirements in all aspects of the program including legality of structure.
  • Compliance with all regulatory and insurance requirements in all aspects of the program including legality of structure.
  • Appropriate coding, billing and collection. The Momentum Practice Group billing expert is the official billing trainer for the American Academy of Pain Management. As indicated, the average increase in net revenue per Practice can be substantial. The amount of revenue increase is completely dependent on number of days per week that the Pain Management MD can be profitably placed in the office.
  • Internal and external marketing that is both professional and effective.

The Momentum Practice Group has successfully assembled “the whole package.”

As indicated, the program involves the addition of a MD who specializes in Pain Management and the required equipment to your Practice. Your Practice becomes an option in terms of offering Pain Management services in your area. The wait at other facilities for these procedures ranges from 2-4 weeks so the demand for these services is substantial. The treatment protocol was created from real life experience not “models” or classroom templates. Protocols concerning marketing, patient intake, billing et. al. have also been perfected. The entire program is as comprehensive, thorough and systemized as the best “franchise” but does not involve the loss of independence that results from a franchise.

The Momentum Practice Group is also completely “transparent” which is very important to us. They encourage you to speak with participating Doctors and encourage you to ask anything. “You can observe everything. Ask anything.”

The benefits are many but include the following:

  • The program allows your Practice to add additional services that can be offered to your patients which will increase the number of patients you can help out of pain.

Implementation of the program can increase net revenue substantially using an insurance based procedure. The average increase in revenue experienced by participating Doctors has been very impressive.

The program is “turn-key” so the program can be implemented without disrupting your existing Practice routine.
